  38. Try this for your pif setup for front door and your bbs 
  39. Program file name bbs.bat (or fd.bat or whatever)
  40. window title (your bbs name or whatever)
  41. startup directory (where the batch file resides works best)
  42. video memory set to text
  43. memory requirements     memory required  128k     memory desired  -1
  44. (minus 1)
  45. ems memory      kb required 0 (zero)  kb limit -1
  46. xms memory     kb required  "    "        "    "    "
  47. set execution to background (if you so want it to operate) and set to
  48. windowed application if you're using enhanced mode for windows (don't
  49. know why but it is what works!)
  50. and set to close window on exit!

  52. in the advanced these settings need to be as you think you need them 
  53. set the options on : detect idle time
  54. uses high memory area
  55. allow fast pace
  56. donot enable any other options 
  57. set your time slices as they work best for your system (multitasking
